Grammy-winning country music singer and songwriter Alan Jackson has officially joined the bourbon game as he unveils his signature Silverbelly Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey to the public.
This new premium spirit takes its name from Jackson’s signature cowboy hat. While many think it’s white, the color is, well, “silverbelly.”
Bottled at 91 proof or 45.5% ABV, Silverbelly Bourbon is created in partnership with Silver Screen Bottling Co and DSP-KY-10. Each batch is crafted to celebrate the country superstar’s career, with the first bourbon batch to pay homage to Jackson’s 90’s hit, “Here in the Real World.” This makes each bottle an instant collector’s item.
Jackson’s renowned career includes more than 30 chart-toppers, Grammy, Billboard, CMA, ACM awards, and membership in the Songwriters Hall of Fame and Country Music Hall of Fame.
Silverbelly bourbon whiskey [1] has an aroma of sweet apple, brown sugar, honey, and cherry. The flavor profile includes sweet, spicy, and smooth. You’ll also taste bright fall fruits with a light and silky texture on the mid-palate. On the finish, you’ll find notes of soft caramelized oak tones and savory wood spice.
