As the temperatures cool down (even more) in December, we get excited for hot drinks  to keep us warm all winter long. The Split-Base Hot Toddy allows more complexity with an easy step. It goes especially well with darker spirits. Our preference are dark rum, bourbon or cognac... but pick your two favorites and let us know what tastes best!

Split-Base Hot Toddy

Glass: Irish Coffee Mug

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Dark Rum/Whiskey/Cognac
  • .75 oz Ginger Honey Syrup
  • .75 oz Lemon Juice
  • 1 Dash Aromatic Bitters
  • 4 oz Hot Water

Instructions: Combine in a preheated mug.

Garnish: Star Anise and a cinnamon stick
