Balcones Texas Pot Still Bourbon breaks the mold of traditional bourbons. Distilled using a copper pot still (for richer character) and featuring a unique mash bill that includes a significant amount of roasted blue corn alongside wheat, rye, and malted barley, this Texas straight bourbon boasts a complex and bold flavor profile.

Aged for a minimum of two years in new, charred oak barrels, the bourbon picks up rich notes of vanilla, caramel, and baking spice from the oak. The blue corn shines through, contributing hints of sweetness like honey and pecan, while the rye adds a touch of peppery spice.  This interplay between sweet, oaky, and spicy notes creates a truly unique and memorable sipping experience. The spirit itself is oily and viscous, coating the tongue with a luxurious mouthfeel. The finish is long and warming, with lingering hints of dried fruit, oak, and a touch of smoke.
