Catoctin Creek Roundstone Rye is a rye whiskey crafted in the pre-Prohibition style, meaning it stays true to historic rye whiskey recipes. Made entirely from scratch at their Virginia distillery, Roundstone Rye uses 100% rye grain, sourced locally whenever possible. This focus on rye gives it a distinct spicy character that rye whiskey lovers crave. Aged for around two years in new charred white oak casks, the whiskey picks up notes of vanilla and caramel alongside the rye spice. The charring process from the new oak contributes a pleasant woodiness that complements the rye’s boldness.
