Nose

The first whiff is an enticing invitation. Imagine a bowl overflowing with sun-ripened tropical fruits –  think banana, pineapple, and mango – their sweetness gently interwoven with the rich aroma of Oloroso sherry. Hints of vanilla and baking spice peek through, like whispers of nutmeg and cinnamon, adding a touch of complexity.  For some, a fleeting note of violets might dance in the background.

Palate

The first sip is a luxurious experience. The whisky is thick and syrupy, coating your tongue with a wave of sweetness. Oloroso sherry takes center stage, offering notes of dried fruits like raisins and figs, alongside toffee apples and hints of cocoa. The influence of the long aging shines through with a touch of oak spice, like gentle whispers of sandalwood. Underlying all this is a subtle nuttiness, perhaps a hint of marzipan or almond.

Finish
