These are two Cognac labels, not a trophy pair. Both sit under BNIC rules: grape brandy from the Cognac region, bottled at 40% or more. VS, VSOP, and XO are age floors — not a brand ranking. Typical US bottles print 40%. A 1.5-ounce pour at 40% is one NIAAA drink.
