Sherry and vermouth are fortified wines, not two TTB spirit types. Sherry is a Spanish origin wine. US vermouth is a US type.21(g): grape wine, compounded, not over 24% ABV. Sweet vs dry is residual-sugar talk. Typical drinking-wine examples sit near 12%. A 5-ounce pour at 18% is about 1.5 drinks.
