Malbec is a red grape, not a sweetness class. Most US table Malbec is bottled dry, residual grams unused as one number. Typical lots sit near 12–14% “Fruit-forward” is palate talk, not residual sugar. Fortified or late-harvest lots are a different bottle. There is no official sweet-Malbec crown. Read the neck.
