Hpnotiq: A Quick History
Raphael Yakoby founded Hpnotiq in 2001. He decided to make and blend a blue drink after witnessing a blue cologne at Bloomingdale’s store when he was in college. Yakoby formed the recipe; however, he had no idea how to introduce his product.
So, Yakoby partnered with Nick Storm to help him promote his blue drink to the manufacturers. Nick Storm brought a case of Hpnotiq to a Sony party. Then the rest is history. From then on, Hpnotiq reached a pop culture-like level.
According to NBC, it is the ‘celebrity drink of choice’ because the liqueur has been spotted at all the top events, including the Grammys, Oscars, and New York Fashion Week.
How It’s Made
Hpnotiq is a mixture of five different cognacs manufactured from the Cognac region of France and vodka. It is thrice distilled from grains in limited quantities and filtered with spring water and charcoal to provide a smooth flavor. Hpnotiq is then bottled after the master blender blends the three components.
How It Tastes
When you take a sip of this liqueur, you’ll taste mango and passion fruit flavor. It’s a delicious and easy-to-drink liquor with a light mouthfeel and unmatched flexibility, capable of standing up to various cocktail components.
Sipping Hpnotiq with mixers can enhance its taste. You can also drink it straight, chilled, with ice, or paired with your dinner food like grilled chicken or with salmon.
Moreover, you can mix it with spirits like rum (preferably coconut rum) or gin. Hpnotiq also tastes better if you pair it with pineapple juice and other citrus extracts.

What Makes Hpnotiq A High-Quality Product
One of the factors that made Hpnotiq a high-quality one is the production process and the ingredients used. The liqueur is made using French triple-distilled vodka, a combination of five cognacs, and a secret fruit juice blend. You can improve its taste and quality if you make cocktails with it. Hpnotiq and pineapple juice tastes really good.
The French vodka is also recognized as premium. A grain basis, charcoal filtration, and spring water are all used to create a high-quality vodka in the Hpnotiq master blender’s final mix.
Compared To Other Liqueurs
Alizé is a delectable spirit made with passion fruit, fresh berries, and a blend of ginger in quality French vodka. Because of the ginger, a bottle of this is somewhat more costly than standard Hpnotiq. Alize has a 16 % alcohol level and usually costs around $21 above.
This ultraviolet, pink liqueur is made with French vodka and a citrus and tropical fruits blend. This product costs approximately $26 for a 750 mL bottle and around $36 for a liter bottle. Because it was created in Italy and is hard to find in stores and online, it is rather more expensive than Hpnotiq.
Qream has a blend of peach and strawberry flavor. Because of its nearly yogurt-like texture, it mixes nicely in thicker drinks. Yet, it is the most costly of the three due to its richer texture and flavor. Qream has an alcohol content of 12.5% and costs around $30 for a bottle.
