If you have been in the industry for the longest time, the pressure would be on your shoulders. You need to keep the satisfaction, and you need to excel from your competition. Tequila Sauza has successfully kept that for over a century.
We’ve got the Sauza price guide here and some little-known secrets of this popular alcohol.
A Brief Introduction on Sauza Tequila
Casa Sauza started in 1873. Over battles, wars, and revolutions, they survived and still managed to perfect the craft of making first-rate tequila. Don Cenobio Sauza was the one who made tequila taste distinct from Mezcal. In La Perseverancia distillery, where Don Cenobio creates his masterpieces, he found out that aside from cost-efficiency, using steam will provide tequila a taste far different from Mezcal.\
The intent was to launch it in the United States for the upper-middle-class Mexican, but it became a hit with the American audience. It even has a record-breaking amount of sales of 3 million cases of tequila in 1978.
How It’s Made
Sauza is made from one hundred percent blue weber agave plant coming from Jalisco, Mexico. Before you get the chance to take a sip of Sauza tequila, the plant has to be grown, and the fruits need to be handpicked. The juices are mixed with spice and other components to achieve a certain savor and color. You wouldn’t believe what spice can do for liquor to end up really delicious.
How To Drink Sauza Tequila
You can drink this in a highball glass, fill it with ice, and top it with cranberry juice for added color. Stir and take a relaxing sip. But if you want it stronger, taking it neat will also be a good treat after dining with good food. You can tell by its color and aroma of spice and fruit that it has a good flavor in it. There is really no proper way to drink it because it all depends on your preference.

Compared to Other Tequila Brands
Comparing the two, the price is the first thing that you will notice. If we talk about selections, Milagro has a higher range of prices, but this brand name also has more offerings compared to what Sauza has. Milagro Silver is about $21.99 – $27.99 compared to Sauza’s $12.99 – $18.99. It also has more expensive bottles that are aged longer and have a higher number on the tag.
A bottle of Patron is aimed more on the higher stakes considering the prices of their tequila. In terms of marketing, it was intended to be for the upper market initially. There are no questions about the quality of the products coming from Patron, especially the more aged ones, such as Patron Gran Burdeo, which has a whopping rate of roughly $419.99 – $499.99. Sauza is aimed more at the masses though they also have bottles that are aged.
When it comes to prices, the two are close range. You will get recommendations for these two brands if you do not want to spend so much on your drinks. However, the taste of these tequilas is not of low quality. Sauza offers great flavors despite their affordable prices, and they have years of experience. Hornitos is trailing from behind with a price of about $12.99 – $19.99, and for a beginner, they are not doing badly.
