Tito’s Handmade Vodka is 80-proof / 40% ABV corn vodka from Austin, Texas (Fifth Generation, Inc.). The brand FAQ states “40% alcohol by volume namely 80 proof.” That is the US vodka floor (27 CFR 5.142). A 1.5-ounce pour is one NIAAA standard drink and about 97 calories (USDA 80-proof spirits). It is not flavored vodka. It is not imported. “Handmade” is marketing, not a second legal class.

Six-times-distilled and pot-still stories on the site do not change the 40%. A Tito’s soda-lime is still one drink per 1.5 ounces of vodka; the soda is extra volume, not extra ethanol. Four pours are four drinks. NIAAA binge pattern (5 / 4 in about two hours) is a health line, not a target. Do not drive. Math: shots of vodka and vodka proof.
