“Top shelf” is store English, not a TTB class. Bourbon still needs mash at least 51% corn, new charred oak, bottled at ≥80 proof. A 1.5-ounce pour at 40% is one NIAAA drink; at 50% it is 1.25. Allocated names — Weller, Blanton’s, Pappy — have no published street. 100 proof is not bottled-in-bond unless No 2026 ranking or MSRP.
