Jameson Original is blended Irish whiskey from Midleton (Irish Distillers / Pernod Ricard) at 40% ABV / 80 proof on the brand nutrition page. Kirkland back labels usually name the importerMISA Imports of Dallas — not a distillery. Both sit on the Irish-whiskey floor (≥3 years in Ireland) and typically print 40%. A 1.5-ounce 40% pour is one NIAAA standard drink either way.
