There is no official “best Macallan.” The Speyside distillery bottles single malt Scotch. Sherry Oak 12 Years Old prints 43% ABV / 750 ml on the official US shop. Other-market 12-year lots bottle at 40%, read that neck. A 1.5-ounce pour at 43% is 1.08 NIAAA drinks. Scotch still needs the SWR: Scotland, three years, ≥40%. No 2026 ranking or MSRP.
