Updated April 2026.
There is no official best vanilla whiskey. Vanilla flavoring is not a TTB class. Crown Royal Vanilla prints 35% Alc/Vol on the brand page — a flavored Canadian whisky, not bourbon. Jim Beam Vanilla is labeled with vanilla liqueur on the brand page; ABV unused. A 1.5-ounce pour at 35% is 0.88 drinks.
Related: flavored bourbon, honey whiskey, Canadian whisky.
