There is no TTB class called “mixing whiskey,” and the IBA does not name a brand. An Old Fashioned, Manhattan, or Whiskey Sour still starts with the labeled pour. A 1.5-ounce 40% whiskey is one NIAAA drink; at 50% bottled-in-bond it is 1.25. Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 and Jim Beam White are 80 proof on standard US sheets. This is not a 2023 top-15 tasting.

A 750 mL 40% bottle is about 17 drinks. Four 80-proof cocktails are four drinks if each uses 1.5 ounces. NIAAA binge pattern is a health line, not a target. Pour math: whiskey drinks.
