- 2oz whiskey
- ¾ oz fresh lemon juice
- ½ oz simple syrup
- 1pc egg white (optional)
- Dash of Angostura bitters
- Maraschino cherry (or lemon peel), for garnish
Put the whiskey, lemon juice, egg white, maple, or simple syrup in a cocktail shaker and shake for 30 seconds without the ice.
