Orange Liqueur for Margaritas: What the Label Has to Mean

There is no official best orange liqueur for a margarita. The current IBA Margarita card prints 50 ml 100% agave tequila, 20 ml triple sec, and 15 ml lime. Triple sec, Curaçao, and “orange liqueur” are flavor or place talk, not extra US types. Cointreau l’Unique official is 40%. Typical US tequila is 40% One IBA build at those strengths is about 1.38 drinks.
