Jameson Original and Tullamore D.E.W. Original are both blended Irish whiskeys bottled at 40% ABV. A 1.5-ounce pour is one NIAAA standard drink either way. They are different houses. Jameson is Irish Distillers at Midleton (Pernod Ricard) — 40% on the brand nutrition page. Tullamore D.E.W. is William Grant & Sons; the official nutrition tile prints 40% alc b/v. “Smoother” is not an Irish GI score.
