Updated April 2026. Facts, pour sizes, hours, and sources checked against current public records and the operator’s site.
Cane River Brewing Co. in Natchitoches, Louisiana is closed. The 2022 write-up on this slug described a taproom in a former cotton-gin building at 108 Mill St, Natchitoches, LA 71457. KTBS reported in 2022 that Cane River decided to close and that Flying Heart Brewing & Pub would take over the brewing facility. Flying Heart’s own site still lists that Mill Street address as its Natchitoches pub. This URL stays /cane-river-brewing/ — we will not 301 it onto a shop SKU or invent a new slug.
Do not treat 2022 tap-list hours (Tue–Sun cotton-gin hours in the old article) as current. Confirm Flying Heart’s published hours on flyingheartbrewing.com before you go. Related beer math, not a venue menu: how long beer lasts in the fridge, pitcher size, how many beers to get drunk, what non-alcoholic beer is.

A US standard drink is still 12 ounces of beer at about 5% ABV. Craft pours and pitchers scale with the labeled ABVbeer drink count. NIAAA binge pattern is a health line, not a target. Do not drive.
