There is no official best rum in the Caribbean. Caribbean is geography, not a TTB class. US rum is a US type.147 at 40% or more. Jamaica Rum is a GI. Puerto Rico requires “Ron de Puerto Rico” to be made and aged at least 12 months on the island. Typical US 40% No ranking or street price. A 1.5-ounce 40% pour is one NIAAA drink.
