Don Julio Blanco and Patrón Silver are the same ethanol on typical US necks: 40% ABV / 80 proof. A 1.5-ounce pour is one NIAAA standard drink either way. The split is the NOM, not extra proof. Don Julio is commonly NOM 1449 (Tequila Don Julio / Diageo, Atotonilco el Alto). Patrón is Hacienda Patrón, NOM 1492 (Bacardi, 2018). Both core lines are 100% agave under NOM-006.
Don Julio 1942 is an extra-añejo age class, not a higher-proof SKU unless the neck says so. Patrón 100 is 50% (April 2026 PR) — a different bottle. Related: Don Julio, Patrón, Casamigos vs Patrón.

A 750 mL 40% bottle is about 17 standard drinks. Four pours are four drinks. NIAAA binge pattern is a health line, not a target. Same-parent Casamigos is a different brand: current documented US bottles print NOM 1609; older lots have been reported as 1416 — do not call 1416 current Casamigos. No 2026 MSRP. Pour math: tequila drinks.
