Updated July 2026.
Belvedere and Grey Goose flagships are both typically 40% ABV / 80 proof on US bottles. A 1.5-ounce pour is one NIAAA standard drink either way. The class is the same. The farm differs. Belvedere is Polish rye vodka (Polmos Żyrardów; LVMH). Grey Goose is French winter wheat (Bacardi; Picardy / Gensac-la-Pallue). “Smoother” is not a TTB type.
Grey Goose Essences is 30% on the brand FAQ — not the flagship. Other flavored SKUs: read the neck. Related: Grey Goose, Belvedere, Tito’s vs Grey Goose.
