There is no official “best bourbon brand.” Bourbon is a TTB class: at least 51% corn, aged in new charred oak, bottled at 80 proof or higher. A 1.5-ounce 80-proof pour is one NIAAA drink; 90 proof is 1.13; 100 proof is 1.25. Allocation (Buffalo Trace, Blanton’s, Weller) is a supply fact, not a tasting vote. This is not a connoisseur ranking and not a 2026 price list.
